#1 Realize You Already Are An Expert


Think of past training you have taken, your career history, your hobbies, and your education.


You are full of knowledge. Dip into that knowledge base to start. You can always pivot later.


What advice do others come to you for? Our friends and family usually come to us when they need help with certain things. What is that one thing they come to you for?


#2 Success Leaves Clues


See what others are doing. Google, Facebook, and YouTube are great resources. Do some research to see if you can find others having success with things similar. This is a great way to validate your ideas. Finding someone else having success is a good thing because it also means that you too can do it!


You can always ask to DM those you find online and ask them if they have to jump on a call with

you or if they are willing to answer a few questions.

Once you have your solution to a problem, do a few free or discounted coaching calls in exchange for testimonials to build up your credibility.


#3 Bet On Future Self


It's important that you create some momentum. You are not chasing perfection here. You want to start coaching and helping others.


Offering discovery calls is a great way to dig deeper into the challenges they are facing. Listen to the language they are using to describe their issues.

Discovery calls are the best place to get practice when it comes to offering your clients the next step. Ask for the sale. Learn what works and what doesn't.


The goal here is to get a“Yes” to Get Paid!


#4 Creating Your Voice


Seems overwhelming to think about websites, sales funnels, and posting to all the social media platforms.


Develop your elevator speech. A great tip is to say, "I Help X with X so that they can X".


You don’t need a full website to get started. Instead, start with a simple landing page to host your freebie. Start collecting emails.


When it comes to social media platforms, choose no more than 3 to operate on and only one main one to master. Don't spread yourself too thin. It's better to do one really well than 3 very inconsistently.



Finally, you will want to choose a platform that is searchable by Google, like YouTube, podcasts, or blog posts. This will help others beyond your reach find you. And the content stays searchable for years to come.


#5 Turn On The Spotlight


Get in front of other people's audiences. Be a guest on other blogs, podcasts, or live shows.

The goal here would be to search out similar markets. You can try to find some that would enhance yours, not compete with. Maybe try to find someone who would like to collaborate with you on projects.


Leveraging other people's markets is one of the fastest ways to grow!
