How To Stay Focused On Your Goals


Goals are great to have. And it’s easy to ramble a few out there, but how do we stay focused on them? What can we do to have a better completion rate?


If we aren’t achieving the goals we are setting, it could be from a lack of focus. Today, I want to share with you 10 ways you can increase the focus on your goals so you can be the person you really want to be!

1. Moodboard. A Moodboard is a great way to visually and creatively set and see your goals.


2. What Is Your Why? Getting really clear and deliberate on your why will really help you stay focused on your goals. Write this out. Honestly, take the time and write this down.


3. What Will Your Future You Be Thankful You Did Today? Your future you will be so thankful you stayed focused on your goals. Because let's face it, if you don't do the darn thing your future you will still be your present you, only sadder.


4. Create Stepping Stones. Our vision can be really overwhelming, we must break it down into smaller stepping stones in order to move forward.


5. Hold Yourself Accountable. We need to make deadlines for ourselves. We need to hold ourselves accountable so we keep up our motivation.

6. Keep Track Of Your Progress. Whether it be your number of subscribers, money, or personal weight loss, keeping track of your numbers will help you stay focused on your goals. It is so easy to not see your growth if you don't have it written down and make a point to look at your progress.


7. What Can You Do Today Instead Of Pushing It Off Until Tomorrow? Even if it is something super small, do it. Do it today. The smallest steps will still get you to the top of Mount Everest.


8. Break Down Your Goals Into Chunks Of Time

Yearly → Qtrly → Monthly → Weekly → Daily

Breaking down these goals into achievable chunks of time can really help you make a doable plan and stay focused and really achieve your goals.

9. Narrow Your Focus. Rather than focusing on our goals, we can easily get distracted by our fears so we must get tunnel vision. We must narrow that focus to the smallest of details. Once you widen your vision, you can get lost and overwhelmed very quickly.


10. Reassess Your Goals Frequently. What might have been a goal 6 months ago might not be a goal today. Make sure you are keeping true to yourself. It is ok to pivot along the way. When we know more, we will know ourselves more. We are on a fluid path to being the person we are meant to be. Don't get stuck finishing your goal only to find out it no longer fulfills your soul.
